Privacy Policy
In short: this website sets no cookies, runs no tracking, embeds no third-party content and contains no form. There is nothing to consent to and nothing to decline. Only the connection data that technically arises when delivering a page is processed.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
amidiro GmbH
Pascalstraße 6, 52076 Aachen, Germany
Phone: +49 177 4217 640
E-mail: info@amidiro.com
We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the legal conditions requiring one do not apply. For questions about data protection, please contact our managing director Tobias Haustein at the address above.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the website at the domain amidiro.com and its subdomains.
3. Visiting the website and server logs
When you open this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which is temporarily processed in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and address of the file retrieved
- amount of data transferred and whether retrieval succeeded
- browser and operating system used
- the previously visited page, if transmitted (referrer)
This data is required to deliver the site, keep it stable and defend against attacks. We do not analyse it to draw conclusions about you as a person, and we do not combine it with other data.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technically correct and secure operation of the website.
4. Hosting
This website is operated on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; represented in the EU by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, Germany). Cloudflare delivers the pages through a global network of servers and processes the connection data described in section 3 on our behalf. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare.
This may involve a transfer to the United States. Such transfers are safeguarded by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and supplementary measures; Cloudflare has additionally self-certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content
This website sets no cookies and uses no comparable techniques for storing information on your device. Your usage behaviour is not analysed. No analytics, advertising or social media services are embedded.
All content — fonts, images, stylesheets and documents — is served from our own site. When you visit this website your browser makes no connection to third-party servers. For that reason there is no cookie banner here: there is nothing for you to consent to.
If you follow a link to an external site — our LinkedIn profile, for instance — that provider’s privacy terms apply. We have no influence over their content.
6. Contacting us
This website contains no contact form. You can reach us by e-mail or telephone. If you write to us, we process the details you provide — usually your name, e-mail address and the content of your message — solely to deal with your enquiry.
Our e-mail service runs on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). A data processing agreement is in place for this as well.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Retention: we delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. Business correspondence is subject to commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively.
7. Downloads
The documents offered on the Resources page can be downloaded without registration and without providing an e-mail address. No separate record is made; section 3 applies.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to us:
- Access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal message to info@amidiro.com is enough.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:
Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
Nordrhein-Westfalen
Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany
www.ldi.nrw.de
10. Data security
This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (TLS). We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. Please note that e-mail is generally transmitted unencrypted and can be read by third parties. Do not send us confidential information by unencrypted e-mail.
11. Changes
We update this policy when the processing changes — for example because we start using a new service. The version published here is the one that applies.
